Burl’s Creek
Spanning over 585 acres of pristine open green space, “Burl’s Creek Event Grounds” in Oro Medonte, Ontario is the largest outdoor music venue in Canada. The Trent-Severn Waterway is a 385km (240 mile long) historic system of lakes, rivers and locks connecting Lake Ontario at Trenton to Georgian Bay and the 30 Thousand Islands at Port Severn. Its major natural waterways include the Trent River, Otonabee River, the Kawartha Lakes, Lake Simcoe, Lake Couchiching, Sparrow Lake and the Severn River. Lake Simcoe Regional Airport is a registered aerodrome located almost midway between Barrie and Orillia, in the township of Oro-Medonte, Ontario, Canada, near Highway 11. The airport is operated by both municipalities. The airport is classified as an airport of entry by NAV Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). CBSA officers at this airport can handle aircraft with no more than 24 passengers.
